Our Story

Steve started his first job in the restaurant business in 1976 as a dishwasher at the Viking Restaurant working his way to Fry Cook before deciding to serve his country in the US Navy as a Mess Cook Specialist. After Steve finished his basic training and cooking school, he was assigned as the personal chef for the Admiral of the Pacific Fleet based in Hawaii and then spending two years on a submarine for the remaining of his tour.

Steve would like to welcome you as the Owner/Executive Chef of Foster’s Restaurant, to try his Casual American Dining experience. Steve has created house made Entrées of Steak, Seafood and Pasta dishes that Steve has created with over 30 years experience of crafting his talents as a Chef.
